Jania started dancing at the age of 12 with the Mesa Stars Dance and Drill Team.  At the age of 16 Jania joined Julie Renn's Dance & Performing Arts Studio where she developed her love of teaching.  Jania has taught at numerous studios throughout the valley over the past 20 years mainly focusing on Company level dancers as Artistic Director for 2 studios.  Jania is well known throughout the valley for producing extremely technical, well-rounded dancers with a great respect for the art of dance.

​ About the owners

David & Jania Magdaleno were married the summer of 2000 in the Mesa Arizona Temple.  They have three children; Francisco (14), Samantha (11), and Ileanna (9).  Francisco enjoys playing football and the girls love to dance. 

As their children are getting older, David & Jania have decided at this point it is time to transition from the competitive side of dance and focus on sharing the joy of teaching and sharing Jania's experience and technical training with the families in their own community and abroad.  Beehive Dance Studio is a realization of that ambition.  We are excited to make the Beehive Dance Family a part of our family.
